This. And That.

For those of you who don't follow me on Facebook, my computer fell apart Friday night.

And if you don't follow me on Facebook, why the hell not? Go here. Click "Like." Done.

There. Now you're fabulous.
Anyway, when I say "fell apart," I mean it. The hard drive didn't fail, the motherboard didn't fry. It was just a cheap-ass laptop, and it physically fell apart. Meaning I could have yanked out all the components, bought a new shell, and dumped them in. But that seemed hard.

And because Tupac died young and violently,
I feel justified in ignoring his advice.
So I replaced the laptop, and now I'm back in business. I'm going to skip over all the other horrible things that have happened this weekend, because they were horrible, duh.

I'm way behind on posting now. I'll make up for that.

But I do want to mention that it's Mother's Day. I called my mom and I told her I love her, because I do. And Precocious Daughter and I are going to hit the mall and find me something cute to wear, possibly in the shoe area. But possibly not, because I have an enormous blood blister on one foot. It's part of the horribleness, so we won't go there.

I want to give a shout-out to all the moms out there. Whether you are one, or have one, or had one, or have known someone who was like a mom to you, or have been like a mom to someone who needed one...Happy Mother's Day. I think motherhood is something everyone should celebrate, because everyone is touched by it.

Being a mom is the best thing I've ever done. And having a wonderful mom is the greatest good fortune of my life.

D'aw.
Back to my regular posting schedule later. Maybe even later today. Until then...be fabulous. It's what your mama would want.

You're thinking it, you may as well type it. The only comments you'll regret are the ones you don't leave. Also, replies to threads make puppies grow big and strong.
