better off irl

Hi, Drunkards. I know I haven't posted in more than a week. Sorry about that.

On behalf of this adorable Basset hound, sorry.
Last week was a perfect storm of....stuff.

On behalf of my darling PDaughter, Precocious Daughter had many band practices, both early and late.

I found myself caught in a tangle of financial statuses.

And basically, I thought I might be better off dead than, you know, how I was IRL.

This, if I'm going to be honest.

Here's the thing: I have many loved ones (some blood relatives, some honest soulmates) who want me to be a successful, first-class human.

I love you all. Really.

But for those who recognize my weaknesses, acknowledge my foreign differences, and love me anyway, I say: Thank you.

You are my forever love for you. Forever.

And all I have to say in our defense in this:

I support your belief in America.

And in me.

And in our post-American belief in loving one another forever.

I hope we can all be happy. I personally will donate my entire forever to this belief.

If tomorrow is your belief to the contrary, I understand.

I hope we will come together later.

Until then, God bless together, you guys.

  1. I went a little crazy last week, too. I hate to make people put up with me when I get that way.

We're fortunate to have people who will take our calls when we have one of those weeks, huh?

  2. I have a dilemma.
I like you. I like the person you are so I want you to be you.
But I also want you to be happy and I'm concerned being you sometimes results in you being unhappy, or causes those closest to you to be unhappy, which I know also makes you unhappy.
You'll be the first to know if I find a solution.

  3. Hey, sorry I haven't been around much, Mom's in hospice and I am travelling up and down the coast :-( But I count on you being here when I check in, ok? Hang in there.

You're thinking it, you may as well type it. The only comments you'll regret are the ones you don't leave. Also, replies to threads make puppies grow big and strong.
