Our first single-ladies, apartment-living Christmas tree.
I'd put a photo of it here, but damn my phone does a shitty job of taking pictures inside our apartment.
As far as you know, it looks just like this. |
Christmas will be very different for us this year. I'm happy about it, albeit a bit nervous about the changes. Still, this is what I signed up for, this is what I wanted, this is my choice. And I'm pleased, even with the incumbent anxiety. I am hardly the first woman to face a post-marriage Christmas; I've got this.
Merry Christmas to all of my friends and loved ones. I don't care if you're Christian or not; I wish you the love and goodness of this season. If you're in my neck of the woods, stop by, and I'll bake you cookies. If you're not, send me a message and I'll respond with season's greetings.
Happy Christmas! We have our trees up, but both need to be decorated proper. It's weird when you're in the middle of a new lot in life and the holidays roll in, but you're handling it all like a champ. Adore you, Chuck.

ReplyDeleteI hope you and PD have a happy clappy Christmas and a healthy, prosperous new year.
ReplyDeleteCheers,

Ours is more of a Charlie Brown tree. Matters not. Have a wonderful holiday! Son and I are going to visit my Mom over New Years' -- she is officially in "no detectable cancer" status. She and Jimmy Carter ;-) Happy New Year!
