Although I just now learned that NASA's Mercury 7 were introduced on my birthday in 1959. (Only John Glenn survives. We should totally have a drink or something.)
Earlier today, Precocious Daughter suggested I write myself a birthday song. And I think tomorrow I'll do that thing. So keep watching this space.
Until then, keep in mind that in 1992 I was a 24 year old "Gen X slacker" who was going to bring down America as we knew it.
And now I'm a home-owning, tax-paying, white-collar worker who votes and all that shit.
I still don't trust the older generation, but pretty soon I will be the older generation.
