I Want to Sound Awesome When I'm Gone

I thought of some more songs I want played at my funeral, in case I ever die:

"I Will," the Beatles

"Can't Find My Way Home," Blind Faith

"Hallelujah," Tim Buckley

"Strange Rivers," Joan Baez

"Such Great Heights," Postal Service

"At Last," Etta James

"My Prayer" the Platters

"High and Dry," Radiohead

"Let Me Die in My Footsteps," Bob Dylan

"God Only Knows," the Beach Boys

I'm sure there are others. But this is the start of a decent playlist.

Just don't cry when I'm gone. That would suck.

  1. You're going to keep doing this so that I'm forced to think about it myself, aren't you?

I have a LOT of dark music. Too much to choose from.

Maybe something lighter would be better for the occasion.

    I'll give it some consideration...

  2. Oh, sure, tell us not to cry and then pick songs guaranteed to make us cry.

Please stick around for a very long time.

  3. I think I'll write my own song.

It will involve the sun burning the earth to a cinder, so that I am reborn as a star.

You're thinking it, you may as well type it. The only comments you'll regret are the ones you don't leave. Also, replies to threads make puppies grow big and strong.
