First up: A Limerick

March 21 is World Poetry Day!

I love poetry!

See? Told you.
So today I'm going to write poetry. Let's begin with a classic limerick structure.

There once was an actor named Benedict Cumberbatch.
No really, his real name is Benedict Cumberbatch.
And I like Benedict Cumberbatch just fine,
And I wish Benedict Cumberbatch were mine.
Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Cumberbatch.

I'm just warming up, people.

  1. And yet there are so many things that rhyme with Cumberbatch: catch, latch, snatch, thatch...okay that's all I can think of, but that's more than needed for a bona fide limerick.

You're thinking it, you may as well type it. The only comments you'll regret are the ones you don't leave. Also, replies to threads make puppies grow big and strong.
