I See You There

Some of you reading this are already in 2015. And to you I say: Whoa, dudes, you're in the damn future. How do you even do that? 

Aren't the roads really confusing in the future?

Are things OK in 2015? I mean, is the future cool? Have we solved our problems, shed our fears, taken responsibility for our own happiness?

Do we have robot monkeys?

Robot monkeys are the future.

I just want to let you know that those of us who are back here, in your past, we're good. You don't have to look over your shoulder or worry about us. You're in uncharted territory; watch where you're going, not where you've been. We'll make our way in our own time.

Hey, in the future, have they announced an air date for "Sherlock" series four?

Right, not the time to ask. Sorry.

I'll bet the future is a little scary. It usually is. Or maybe it's only scary before you get there, and when you do get there, you find it's nothing you can't handle. Either way, you've got this.

I know, I know, I'm being ridiculous. You're not far in the future. Only a little ways. Still, you're there. You've made it. Don't lose that momentum. You're an inspiration. If you can do it, I can do it. 

In fact, I think I will.

I can't wait to see the 2015 robot monkeys.
