Last One

This is it, folks. I've been writing this blog for five years, hoping it would take off, or at least get noticed. It hasn't, so it's time to move on. Maybe it's time to seriously work on a novel, or maybe just admit I'm a mediocre hack and devote my life to PTA and ice bucket challenges. I've had fun. I wish I'd been a better writer so more people would have read me. I guess I'm far from the first to wish that. Thanks to everyone who has followed and made kind comnents. It meant a lot to me, really.

    But I just got here! Please stay :( I don't think you're a hack writer- I think you are extremely talented with the Queen's English, and I think you are extremely intelligent, witty, and have a good soul.

    I don't even know how many times I've vowed to stop writing.

    It does not work.

    When you've got writing in your blood it's impossible to give up. Trust me on that.

    I'm with Bill. Not only are you amazing and talented, but writing is in your blood. It would be a damn shame for you to disappear from the interwebs!

    No matter what happens, I've thoroughly enjoyed reading your brain nuggets and am glad to have stalked you so well.

    Please don't give up the blog entirely. It is too good. I would still check in for occasional updates if you can't handle being stalked daily.

    I just hopped over from Michelle's rubber shoes to see what you're all about. Then I saw your blog title: Always Drunk and thought here's a woman I can relate to...then sadly you're saying goodbye before I got to say hello. I know how you feel though! I'm a pathetic blogger and sometimes my pathetic blog drives me crazy and I think I should drown it.
