After all, Dems haven't won a race for statewide office here since 1998. <br /><br />I vote largely because on the local level, a few votes can make a difference. A political group I used to be part of endorsed a school board candidate in 2016 who won by 26 votes. There were 50 people at the meeting where we endorsed her. <br /><br />These things can make a difference. <br /><br />And even if it is spitting in the wind on the state level, I still have to say, "I dissent.
