Uncle

So I was watching the second Republican debate on CNN.

And I even live-blogged it for a while.

And then it just got too depressing.

And I realized, there are people whose job it is to follow every minute of this garbage.

I guess I'm not made of the stuff that can do that.

I still hope to make my mark as a writer some day.

But it won't be as someone who pretends to care about the myriad small minds running for President of the United States under the "I'm Moar the Conservativer Than You" banner.

When I find my niche, I'll let you know.

Until then, I'll post sporadically about monkeys and whatnot. Or if you have something else about which you'd like me to ramble, let me know.

Just don't make me care about Republicans, please.

Thanks.

  1. In a post from June 29th, 2015 you mentioned finding a partly written short story. Well, that's not an entirely accurate summation of the story, but it'll do for now. And I've been patiently waiting for you to share that story for...oh, looks like we're about two and a half months out. It seems longer than that. It seems like years.
I'm willing to hold out for as many years as it takes, but it would be nice if we didn't have to wait any longer.
Of course it's also possible that you've already posted it and I missed it, in which case I'm going to slink quietly away and try to imagine I'm not an enormous asshole.

    1. I don't remember seeing it, either. Hint. Hint.

  2. I only watched the first half of the debate.

Bernie Sanders was live-tweeting it but finally said "Thank you all. I've had it. I'm going home. Talk to you soon."

So you weren't the only one.

You're thinking it, you may as well type it. The only comments you'll regret are the ones you don't leave. Also, replies to threads make puppies grow big and strong.
